Lakeside High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our team of educators for the 2025-2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence and student growth, with the flexibility and expertise to teach a range of math courses. Depending on qualifications and scheduling needs, the teacher may be assigned to teach any combination of the following courses:

• Algebra I

• Algebra II

• Geometry

• Quantitative Reasoning

• AP Statistics

• AP Precalculus

• AP Calculus

• College Algebra/College Trigonometry

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction aligned with state and national standards.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal growth of all students.

• Design and implement assessments to monitor student learning and provide timely feedback.

• Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum, analyze student data, and support school-wide initiatives.

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.

• Participate in professional development and school community events.

Salary ranges from a minimum ($51,000) to a maximum ($73,311) - based on the 2024/25 salary schedule for a 190 day contract.  Salary is based on experience.  A complete salary schedule can be found on our school website.
